After each DarkSky Festival, we make a short video slideshow. This year, poor weather challenged us again, and we couldn't resort to a rain date. I think everyone was surprised by how well it went. Despite rain on the first day and clouds the whole time, many people turned out, and the volunteers showed up and did their thing. While there were no stars in the sky, there were many on the ground, as you can see in this video.
Enjoy and join us next year.

🦉Becky, Phillip Buck and Bruce hosted Stella's Outdoor Lighting Academy tent at Hillcrest Harvestfest yesterday.
🎪 It was expected to draw between twenty and thirty thousand people over an eight-hour period across a five-block area packed with tents, tales, and trailers.
🛟 Phillip showed up early to help set up and stayed late to help shut down. He hawked the tent entrance with literature, literally exhausting our ample supply of leaflets. He also welcomed hardy campers in the rain on the first day of the recent Dark Sky Festival and helped shut down Sunday morning. Others joined him, but he has been doing it all.
🙌 Special thanks to Phillip Buck!
