Our friends at NWA Space are hosting a retreat in September!

“Space to Breathe is a small-group women’s retreat designed for those who want to step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with the bigger picture.

Limited to just 12 participants, the retreat combines comfortable glamping accommodations with immersive astronomy experiences, two nights of guided telescope viewing (a $600 value), and discussions led by a PhD-level astronomer. Participants will explore topics ranging from black holes and modern astrophysics to humanity’s place in the universe while enjoying meaningful conversation, time outdoors, and nights beneath the stars.

This retreat serves as a fundraiser supporting the mission of NWA Space and Science. After retreat expenses are covered, all proceeds support future science education, astronomy programming, and community outreach initiatives.

NWA Space and Science is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting people with science through hands-on learning experiences, public astronomy programs, educational outreach, and community engagement.

The organization is working to create a future Space and Science Center for Northwest Arkansas while expanding access to science education today through programs, events, and community partnerships.”
