This is a special opportunity for our Telescope Volunteers and a few others to socialize and perhaps get some private time at the eyepiece. The location is Bear Creek Cabin's hill top Ferguson Homestead property. Heading south down the hill from Silver Hill and Tyler Bend campground on Hyw. 65, when you get to the bottom of the hill you will cross Bear Creek. The turn off is to your left a quarter mile past the creek. You will know you are in the right place as you will cross a low water bridge. Print out a screen shot of the top half of the map below and follow it the cabin. This BYOB and BYOT, though I am sure people will be happy to share telescopes. 🙂
